'I'm Not Going Anywhere': Meghan McCain Is Holding Her Ground At 'The View' Despite Postpartum Return Plagued By Drama — Watch
The View co-host Meghan McCain joined Andy Cohen to discuss her dramatic and bumpy return to the morning show after three months on maternity leave.
The blonde beauty didn't hesitate to throw shade at co-host Joy Behar, 78, who made headlines last week when she said she didn't miss McCain during the new mom's hiatus.
Despite her "rough reentry back to The View," the daughter of late Senator John McCain told Cohen she "missed everyone," adding: "Even if some people didn’t miss me, I missed the show. We're a family."
She explained, "All these women were at my dad's funeral. We've been through a lot of sh*t together. Whether we like it or not, I'm not going anywhere on the show; Joy's not going anywhere on the show. We all have to live and co-exist together, just like Americans right now."
McCain added that she hopes her co-hosts can put their differences aside and see the good in one another, as she would like to see the entire country do the same.
The new mama — who gave birth to daughter Liberty in September — also explained she "had a really hard time getting back to work," after she had to take a longer maternity leave than planned due to unexpected challenges.
"I thought I would be back by the election," she said. "So, just that process of getting back was a lot."

McCain's candid interview on Watch What Happens Live comes after her return to The View on Monday, January 4.
While the first episode went off without a hitch — with McCain showing adorable baby pictures of her daughter — the second episode resulted in a heated exchange between McCain and Behar.
The two were discussing politics when McCain interrupted Behar after she claimed the Republican party was in "trouble."
"I was speaking!” Behar fired back at McCain. "I am talking."
"You missed me so much when I was on maternity leave,” the 36-year-old clapped back. “You missed me so much. You missed fighting with me.”
Behar then admitted she didn't miss her co-host at all. "Zero," the comedian added. A source exclusively told OK! that the outburst was “right on schedule.”
"I think Meghan really wanted to cause a stir straight out of the gate," the source dished. "It is a pretty brilliant plan. Grab a few headlines and most people probably won't even realize she ever left the show."
