New Yorkers Tell 'Melania Trump' To 'F**k Off' In Hilarious 'Beauty & The Beast'-Inspired Musical Skit On 'Colbert': Watch
After First Lady Melania Trump gave her farewell speech earlier this week, Laura Benanti appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to give her a musical send-off like no other.
SO FAKE! 8 SINGS PROVING DONALD TRUMP & MELANIA'S MARRIAGE *IS* TRANSACTIONAL
What begins as a straight-laced video address from outside the White House about how “all good things must come to an end” quickly turns into an all-out musical production about Melania ditching her husband, President Donald Trump, and moving back to NYC for good after four long years in the nation’s capital.
“It’s good to be in NYC, the Be-Bestest city on earth,” Benanti (as Melania) says in Times Square. “The Huge Apple. The city that never sleeps with a porn star and then lies to you about it. Being here makes me feel… which is something I don’t normally do.”
The Broadway legend then burst into a fabulous parody of Belle’s opening song from Beauty and the Beast, but instead of telling her “Bonjour!,” New Yorkers scream, “F**k you!” and “You suck!,” with another adding “Wear a mask!”

“Such colorful characters with their local expressions!” 'Melania' gushes, before singing, “New York is too good to be true. No one puts me in a rage, asking ‘bout kids in a cage. I don’t really care about that, do you?”
Benanti's Melania, dubbed Benania, starts “to wonder if New York dislikes me? What is this word ‘complicity?’ That riot on the Mall, hurt Melania most of all. No one on Earth is bullied more than me,” she crooned. “What was I supposed to do? It was just one lousy coup. What do you want from me? Another f**king Christmas tree?”

“You can change your mind and say you love me if you want to,” she sang, before a crowd of masked New Yorkers all screamed out, “We hate you like you hate Ivanka.” Realizing that she wasn’t welcome in the city that never sleeps, the fake First Lady declares “goodbye forever,” adding, “Insincerely, Melania Trump.”
BAIL TO THE CHIEF: PRESIDENT TRUMP REPORTEDLY FLEEING U.S. BEFORE BIDEN INAUGURATION
Benanti first appeared on The Late Show in 2016 as Melania, after the First Lady appeared to have stolen lines from a speech delivered by Michelle Obama. Since then, Benanti has appeared as Melania spoofing just about everything ridiculous thing she has done over the last four years.
Melania and her husband, Donald Trump, will vacate the White House on Wednesday, July 20, as his presidency comes to an end after losing the 2020 election to former Vice President Joe Biden.
