"You speak about co-parenting, and I'm doing that right now too," she tells Kardashian — who shares 2-year-old daughter True with Tristan Thompson. "It's tough... I know with me and Brandon, it's just a difficult thing because we're in different places, and it's like, we both agree on the main things, but it's a hard thing when you're not together all the time, for me personally."

Later in the interview, Clarkson admitted that she and her ex always “focus on” the kids first, adding: “As long as you make sure it’s about the children and their best interests, then we’re both on board.” As of now, the former flames share joint physical and legal custody of their two children.

OK! was the first to reveal that the The Voice coach filed a claim to the California Labor Commissioner's Office in October 2020, alleging that her agreement with Starstruck Management (owned by Blackstock and his dad, Narvel) was a "fraudulent and subterfuge device" for her managers to perform "illegal services" as agents, due to them being unlicensed in the state of California, and therefore she was owed all the money she earned while under such devices.

As OK! reported, Blackstock fired back at his estranged wife’s claims, denying the accusations that he was charging her outlandish fees during the duration of her contract with his management company. The talent agent reportedly claimed that Clarkson is not entitled to any money that he, his father or their management company earned while working with her over the past 13 years.

The bitter feud between the "Stronger” crooner and the Blackstock family began just mere months after she filed for divorce from her husband of seven years in June 2020.
