The Recording Academy uploaded a video to YouTube of Styles and the “Love Story” singer's friendly chat that began when the former One Direction member approached Swift’s table. During their animated reunion, Swift can be seen nodding and gesturing with her hands as the former flames appear to be all smiles throughout their lengthy conversation.
Fans went wild on social media when they saw the former couple together. “Harry Styles and Taylor Swift interacting at the Grammys solved all of my life problems,” one user wrote, while another said: “I’m not saying Taylor Swift and Harry styles interacting at the Grammys cures depression but Taylor Swift and Harry styles interacting at the Grammys can cure depression.”
A third user compared the two happily conversing with one another to the same feeling on has when seeing “divorced parents” getting along. A fourth wrote that they were left “speechless” after the reunion.
Some were filled with the hope that the two might work together in the future. “All I’m saying is that a Taylor Swift Harry Styles collab would end the pandemic,” a user wrote, while another commented, “after this moment my hope for a Harry Styles and Taylor Swift collab has renewed.”

The “Shake It Off” singer and Syles — who both were happy for one another when Swift won Album of the Year for folklore and Styles won Best Pop Solo Performance for “Watermelon Sugar” on Sunday night — appear to have let any bad blood between the two go.
Swift and Styles dated for a few months in 2012, and their brief relationship is rumored to have inspired many songs on Swift’s chart-topping album 1989. The pair broke up during a rocky trip to the British Virgin Islands, one month after photos of the two holding hands in New York City surfaced online.
Many fans clarified that they weren’t hoping the two would get back together as Swift is happily dating Joe Alwyn and Styles is linked to actress Olivia Wilde.
