She Will Rock You! Miley Cyrus Covers Classic Rock Bangers At NCAA Men's Final Four Concert: Watch
The show must go on! Miley Cyrus tore up the stage at the NCAA men’s final four concert on Saturday, March 3, where she covered a host of classic rock songs.
The 28-year-old played at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to an audience of socially-distanced frontline workers after the Baylor-Houston game. She covered hits such as "We Will Rock You" and "Don’t Stop Me Now" by Queen, Blondie’s "Heart of Glass," and Stevie Nick’s "Edge of Seventeen."
Cyrus also performed her own tunes such as "We Can't Stop" and "Wrecking Ball" and was joined by the legendary Joan Jett for their rendition of "Bad Karma" as well as Billy Idol for "Night Crawling," both of which are on her new album Plastic Hearts. She ended the performance with a cover of Guess Who’s "American Woman."
The blonde beauty stunned in a black vest with matching black pants and laced-up boots and accessorized with black gloves, layered jewelry and a belt with her initials on it.
"⭐️ A STAR IS BORN ⭐️," Cyrus captioned a video of her walking on stage.
While Cyrus might not be able to perform hits from her new album as often as she'd like amid the coronavirus pandemic, last month she played the TikTok Tailgate show during the Super Bowl LV to an audience of vaccinated frontline works, and also had her own tiny-desk concert.
She also gave a sneak peek of what was to come when she shared footage of "Don't Stop Me Now" from the soundcheck.
"Mamaw Ruthie said it best 'Wow Wow Wow !!!' Excellent performance #finalfour@mileycyrus @CBSI agree …Thank you first responders for your service and sacrifice. PS nice hairdo," her dad Billy Ray Cyrus gushed on Twitter.
Cyrus also sent some love to healthcare workers amid the pandemic in the music video for "Angels Like You."
