Hailey Bieber Calls Pregnancy Speculation 'Disheartening,' Admits Fans Will 'Be the Last to Know' When She Actually Is Expecting
Hailey Bieber is sick and tired of the pregnancy speculation.
In a new interview, the model opened up about the constant rumors that she and Justin Bieber are expecting, admitting that even though she tries to ignore the gossip, "It would be a lie if I was like, 'Oh, yeah, I don’t give a s---.'"
"Recently, everybody was like, ‘Oh, my God, she’s pregnant,’ and that’s happened to me multiple times before," the 26-year-old star told GQ Hype. "There is something that’s disheartening about, D---, I can’t be bloated one time and not be pregnant?"
The Rhode skincare founder tries to take it all in good stride, quipping, "It’s just, honestly, at the end of the day, so hilarious how much people f------ care."
"Let me do what I want to do with my body and you guys can do what you want to do with your body. Let’s just let it be that," she added.
The stunning fashionista stated that whenever she and her husband, 29, are expecting their first baby, "you, as in the internet, will be the last to know."
Nonetheless, Hailey understands that's "probably totally unavoidable" given her and the singer's level of fame.
She also touched on her words several years ago, when she said she wants to keep her future children away from the spotlight.
"Maybe I liked the idea at 18 of not raising kids around certain things, but my life is so different now than it was when I was 18," the Hollywood beauty explained. "It’s so hard to say what I’m going to do or not do when there isn’t even a child here yet."
"I don’t even know what it feels like to be a parent other than a dog parent yet," Hailey added. "And that’s not the same thing, by any means."
She concluded her discussion on the topic by nothing that motherhood "is something that I look forward to. It’s also such a private, intimate thing. It’s something that’s going to come when it comes."
In a previous interview, the beauty mogul confessed she's also simultaneously terrified to welcome a little one, admitting it's something she cries about "all the time."
"I want kids so bad but I get scared. It’s enough that people say things about my husband or my friends. I can’t imagine having to confront people saying things about a child," she expressed. "We can only do the best we can to raise them. As long as they feel loved and safe."

In 2022, the model revealed she and the pop star will "ideally" try to start a family within "the next couple of years."
"But there's a reason they call it try, right? You don't know how long that process is ever going to take," she pointed out.
