A Little Situation: Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino's Wife Lauren Gives Birth To Baby Boy Romeo Reign

They have a little situation on their hands! Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and his wife Lauren Sorrentino welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Romeo Reign on Wednesday May 26th the reality star announced via Instagram on Thursday.

The Jersey Shore star uploaded multiple pictures showing off his new son and his wife along with the caption "Romeo Reign Sorrentino 🚀"

The reality star's Jersey Shore cast mates were quick to congratulate the new little family in the comments with Jenni 'JWoww' Farley saying "i'm so happy!!!!!" and her partner in crime Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi happily leaving "WELCOME BABY!!!!!"

Baby Reign's new uncles chimed in with DJ Pauly D commenting "Welcome to the family Romeo!!!!! can't wait to meet ya!" and Vinny Guadagnino simply saying "Congrats!!!"

The 38 year-old reformed bad boy wed Lauren back in 2018. In November of 2020, they announced that they were expecting a baby boy together.

This comes as an extremely happy moment for Jersey Shore Family Vacation star as he has faced extreme hardship in the past. The star is now five years sober and has bounced back from his eight month prison sentence in 2018 for tax evasion.

The couple certainly didn’t have an easy ride to parenthood. Lauren experienced a shocking miscarriage in late 2019 and has been open about her struggles with infertility, telling Entertainment Tonight that two has remained hopeful of eventually becoming parents by “still trying.”

"We're doing OK. Mike leads our family by example, with going through our past tragedies and trying to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off,” she admitted at the time.

“I looked at him lost when this happened, like, 'I don't know what to do, I don't know how to recover from this.' And he just kept doing the next right thing. You get ready for the day. You're just one day at a time, and we're almost a month later, and I'm doing a lot better.”
