Watch The First Trailer For HBO Max 'Friends' Reunion — Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry Get Emotional
Reunited, and it feels so good!
HBO Max has finally dropped the first official trailer for the highly-anticipated Friends reunion special on Wednesday, May 19.
"Where's the tissue box?" Jennifer Aniston asks sentimentally while on set.
The 52-year-old mega star is joined by castmates Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer and Matthew Perry for the unscripted gathering, held on the show's original soundstage, Stage 24, in Burbank, Calif.
The trailer opens with Schwimmer announcing, "The test is ready," in reference to a trivia game setup like the one in "The Test" from the season four episode "The One with the Embryos." The cast members — who brought to life the beloved characters of Joey, Monica, Chandler, Rachel, Phoebe and Ross — then have fun guessing how many pages the letter was that Rachel wrote to Ross and demanded he read before they got back together.
The cast is later seen wandering around the set and sharing laughs as they perform a table read of the classic episode "The One Where Everybody Finds Out," when the friends learn that Monica (Cox) and Chandler (Perry) are dating.
The cast also tackles the big iconic question like, "Were Ross and Rachel on a break?" and reminisce about the early days of the sitcom.
"I remember I went to the producer of the show I was on, and he said, 'That show's not gonna make you a star,'" Aniston says with a smile.

The trailer also reveals that late-night host James Corden will serve as a host for the reunion special, which airs on May 27 on HBO Max.
According to HBO Max, the reunion is an unscripted "celebration" of the mega popular comedy series, which ran from 1994-2004 on NBC.
In addition to the core "friends," a huge collection of guest stars are set to appear. Slated to join the group are Elliott Gould and Christina Pickles, who played Monica and Ross' embarrassing parents, Jack and Judy; Tom Selleck, who played Monica's Season 2 love interest Dr. Richard Burke; Larry Hankin, who was Monica and Rachel's mean downstairs neighbor Mr. Heckles; and Reese Witherspoon, who was unforgettable as one of Rachel's spoiled sisters.
Actors who played other legendary characters — including James Michael Tyler, who appeared as coffee shop manager Gunther, and Maggie Wheeler, who recurred as Chandler's on-again-off-again girlfriend Janice — will also appear.
Famous newbies set to make cameos include Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Mindy Kaling, BTS, Kit Harington and Malala Yousafzai.
The reunion marks the first time the entire cast is back together since the show went off the air in 2004. The beloved series ran for 10 seasons, which consisted of 236 episodes, all of which are now streaming on HBO Max.
The comedy went on to become one of the most popular sitcoms of all time — snagging four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Screen Actor Guild Awards and 11 People Choice’s Award wins during its initial run.
Can we be anymore excited that the gang is getting back together?
