Piers Morgan Names '2 Royal Racists' Recently Revealed in Dutch Edition of Omid Scobie's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Book

Piers Morgan has unloaded on the controversy surrounding a copy error in the Dutch edition of Omid Scobie's Endgame.

"I'm outraged too — that the rest of the British media hasn't done the same! Why should British people be barred from knowing what Dutch people know about OUR royal family?" Morgan posted on X.

The broadcaster, well-known for his disdain of Scobie, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, also addressed the apparent publishing error on his TV program, Piers Morgan Uncensored. It has also been revealed by palace insiders that, unlike past tell-alls, the British monarchy strongly considers taking "legal action" against all parties involved with Endgame and is "considering all options."

"I can't talk about the details. We have, however, received a request to put the title on hold, and that is what we have done. We are awaiting further instructions. I do not know how long this will be," a representative for the book's publishing house shared when the news broke of the error that eventually named King Charles III and Kate, Princess of Wales, as the culprits questioning Prince Archie's eventual skin color. A mystery senior royal "racist" was first alluded to by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in their explosive 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Further reports suggest the Dutch edition was somehow a "translation error," which is not going over well with some royal commentators who questioned the news.

As OK! previously reported, royal expert Phil Dampier said that he found it "very hard to believe that this error occurred due to a problem with the translation," while veteran royal reporter Michael Cole believes the spill is nothing more than a "publicity stunt" on Scobie's part to drive more attention toward the tome to increase sales.

"Having only written and edited the English version of Endgame, I can only comment on that manuscript, which does not name the two individuals who took part in the conversation. I'm happy to hear that the error in the translation of the Dutch edition book is being fixed," the author told an outlet when discussing the error.

Although the news is generating headlines as a serious breach of etiquette on the part of translators, Omid Scobie's credibility has also come under fire once again.

"I've not seen the Dutch publisher claim this is what happened. How can you mistranslate two names? It just doesn't make sense," Dampier added. "We have to take everything Omid Scobie says with a pinch of salt because he's not always told the truth in the past."

The royal commentator continued: "[It would] probably be best if a statement was put out clearing this up once and for all, but King Charles III and Prince William had 'maintained a dignified silence' through the Oprah Winfrey interview in March 2021, the Netflix documentary last December, Harry's memoir Spare in January and now this, and I can't see the policy changing."
